Refund & Cancellation Policy
Version 1.0 (effective 8 September 2026)
Summary: Subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the period you have paid for. Credits are delivered immediately and are generally non-refundable; however, if you experience an issue, please contact us and we will correct any verified errors. Initiating a bank dispute will not result in your account being suspended. Contact us at [email protected] first for the fastest resolution. This summary is provided for convenience only—the full policy is detailed below.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains how paid features are billed, cancelled and refunded on https://purrdate.com and related services (the "Service"), operated by MANUFACTURES X-I & CO. SAS. It forms part of your agreement with us (Terms of Service).
1. Scope
This Policy applies to:
- Subscriptions and other paid feature access;
- Prepaid credits, where offered on the Service;
- One-time purchases processed through the payment methods offered at checkout.
It does not govern third-party app-store billing; those platforms' terms apply in addition.
2. Prepaid Credits, Where Offered
2.1. Prepaid credits are usable only within the Service, have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or redeemed outside the Service.
2.2. Credit purchases are non-refundable once credits are added to your Account, where you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of any withdrawal right at checkout. Mandatory statutory rights are unaffected (Sections 7 and 12).
2.3. Free credits may carry conditions and are not refundable.
2.4. Spent credits are not restored for features you chose to use, except in case of proven technical error or where the law requires.
3. Subscriptions, Where Offered
3.1. Subscription prices, billing intervals and included benefits are shown before you confirm payment.
3.2. Automatic renewal. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods equal to the initial period until you cancel. Price changes are notified in advance per the Terms of Service.
3.3. How to cancel: via your Account settings, or by email to [email protected] from your registered email address.
3.4. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You retain paid access until then. No further charges are made after cancellation.
3.5. No pro-rata refunds for unused days within a billing period, except where a mandatory cancellation right of your User Market applies (Sections 7.2 and 12).
3.6. Trials. Cancellation before a trial ends prevents conversion to a paid subscription. If you do not cancel, the subscription converts at the price shown at sign-up.
3.7. Account deactivation. Deactivating your profile is reversible and does not cancel a subscription. If renewal is active, Account settings require you to choose whether to keep or cancel it. Before accepting a permanent deletion request we cancel renewal; if cancellation cannot be confirmed automatically, deletion is not started and support assists you. Paid access continues until deletion or the end of the current paid period, whichever is first.
4. Payment Processing
4.1. Payments are processed by third-party providers identified at checkout. We do not store full card numbers.
4.2. Your payment is subject to the provider's terms and fraud checks. Failed or reversed payments may result in feature revocation.
4.3. Prices are displayed inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout.
5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
5.1. If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider, we investigate the dispute. Filing a billing dispute does not, by itself, lead to suspension or termination of your Account. While a dispute is pending, you keep access to what you paid for. If a payment is finally reversed, the credits or features delivered against that payment are revoked to the extent of the reversal; purchases made with other, non-reversed payments are unaffected.
5.2. Contact [email protected] first: most billing issues are resolved faster through us.
5.3. Where an investigation establishes payment fraud or abuse, we may restrict the Account and report the matter to payment networks and authorities.
6. Technical Errors and Duplicate Charges
6.1. If a technical error caused you to be charged without delivery, or charged twice for the same purchase, contact [email protected] within 30 days with your username, the transaction date, the amount and any receipt reference.
6.2. Verified errors are corrected by re-delivering or extending the purchased feature, or by refunding via the original payment method, at our choice unless mandatory law requires a specific remedy.
7. Consumer Rights by User Market
Rights below apply based on where you use the Service, not where the Contracting Entity is incorporated. Nothing here limits mandatory rights.
7.1 United States
State auto-renewal and refund laws apply, together with FTC negative-option rules. You can cancel online via Account settings as easily as you subscribed.
7.2 United Kingdom
Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:
- Prepaid credits, one-off supply of digital content: the 14-day cancellation right is lost once supply begins, where you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of the right at checkout;
- Subscriptions, ongoing digital service: you keep the 14-day cancellation right after service begins. If you cancel within 14 days of purchase or renewal, you pay a proportionate amount for the period already supplied and we refund the balance within 14 calendar days (Section 12).
7.3 Canada
Provincial consumer laws apply; cooling-off and refund rules for distance contracts vary by province.
7.4 Australia
Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply, with remedies for major failures of digital services.
7.5 New Zealand
Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act apply, with remedies for services not fit for purpose or misdescribed.
7.6 Other territories
Mandatory consumer rights of your territory apply where they cannot be contracted out of.
7.7 General
Mandatory protections override restrictive clauses. Checkout shows the tax treatment for your billing region.
8. Account Termination and Unused Balances
8.1. If you terminate your Account, unused credits lapse without compensation, except where the mandatory law of your User Market provides otherwise.
8.2. If we terminate your Account for breach of the Terms or Community Guidelines, unused credits and remaining subscription time lapse without refund, to the extent permitted by the mandatory law of your User Market.
8.3. If we terminate without cause, we allow a reasonable period to use remaining purchased credits or refund their unused value, and refund unused prepaid subscription time pro-rata.
9. Promotions
Promotions and bonus codes are subject to the conditions displayed. Unless stated, they are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. We may revoke promotional credits or benefits obtained through abuse or fraud.
10. Manual Payment Methods
Where bank transfer or similar manual methods are offered:
- access is granted after we confirm receipt, which may take several business days;
- if payment is not received within the stated window, the order is cancelled without charge;
- refunds for manual payments are returned to the originating account where feasible.
11. How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with:
- your registered email and username;
- date and amount of the transaction;
- payment method and any reference or invoice ID;
- the reason for the request;
- whether purchased credits were spent, if applicable.
We respond within 14 calendar days. Refunds owed under a statutory withdrawal right are processed within 14 calendar days of receiving your withdrawal declaration, to the original payment method. Other approved refunds are processed within 14 calendar days of approval, subject to payment-provider timelines.
12. Cancellation Instructions and Model Form for United Kingdom Consumers
Right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day of purchase or renewal. To exercise the right, inform us (MANUFACTURES X-I & CO. SAS, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France, [email protected]) of your decision by a clear statement. You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. Sending your communication before the period expires is sufficient.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel, we reimburse the payments received for the contract concerned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed, using the same means of payment, at no cost to you. If you requested that a subscription begin during the cancellation period, you owe a proportionate amount for the service provided up to your cancellation. The cancellation right for prepaid credits is lost once supply has begun, where you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged losing the right at checkout.
